Description

Children’s Law Center of Central North Carolina (CLC) seeks an Operations Manager, based in our Winston-Salem office, to play a lead role in ensuring smooth organizational operations focused on our strategic priorities of community education, intervention, and systemic impact. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, resourceful professional who thrives in a dynamic nonprofit environment.

The Manager will oversee the full range of organizational operations, including data management and reporting, technology and financial management, human resources, and development and communications support. This position requires strong relationship and communication skills to effectively engage with the organization’s wide range of constituents.

Duties

Key Responsibilities

• Manage organizational operations and all related platforms to support growth and ensure efficiency while recognizing and implementing continuous process improvements
• Build strong relationships with vendors, contractors, volunteers, the court system, and community partners
• Lead data collection and management to support grant reporting, donor engagement, and impact tracking
• Support advocacy program development through case management process execution
• Plan and implement volunteer and student intern programs, including recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling

Qualifications

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business or nonprofit management, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in program or operations management (nonprofit setting preferred)
• Direct knowledge of and experience working in accounting and reporting systems, CRM systems, Microsoft 365 required; experience with Adobe Acrobat, Canva, and social media platforms preferred
• Exemplary administrative, process, and communication skills
• Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills
• Commitment to CLC’s mission of providing children with quality legal advocacy
• Ability and willingness to work with diverse client populations in varied work environments
