Board Matching Service (Pilot Program Underway)
The Consortium is working with Leadership Greensboro and Leadership High Point to pilot an opportunity for program graduates who are interested in board service to connect with nonprofit organizations that are actively seeking new board members. The pilot will begin in May 2023 and we will share more about this program as we learn and make adjustments.
A key part of this program will focus on providing adequate training for potential board members and for the nonprofit leaders (staff and board members) who are working with new board members. Our goal is to create a pipeline of individuals who are prepared for board service and matched with nonprofit organizations that are ready to leverage and appreciate their talents, creating mutually beneficial relationships.
