Participants have access to world-class leadership programming delivered in partnership with Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) faculty and are matched with an executive coach (a member of Triad Coaching Connection) for seven coaching sessions. The cohort of ELA learners also learn and practice peer coaching skills during their time together.
ELA is held each January through June, with full-day sessions cover the following topics: Growing Your Self-Awareness as a Leader (deep work with variety of assessment tools); Leading Change with Change Style Indicator; An Exploration of Privilege; Leading Innovation; Art of Influence: Gaining Commitment & Getting Results; and Authentic Leadership.
Participants operate at the top level of organizational leadership as executive director/CEO/president or at the VP/C-Suite level and have fiscal and management responsibilities within the organization. They commit to full participation and also agree to coach and/or mentor less experienced executive directors at other Guilford County nonprofits.
