The Cabarrus County Partnership for Children (CCPC) is a nonprofit organization with a mission to connect purpose, people and programs to ensure child well-being in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. This mission is fulfilled by assessing the needs of our community and implementing services through our 3 core activities: Health, Early Education, Family Outreach. Part of the statewide Smart Start network, CCPC is a collaborative organization that contracts with many community partners in order to implement services that meet our goal of preparing children in Cabarrus County for success in kindergarten

Duties

CCPC seeks a new Executive Director to be responsible for the management, supervision and operation of the Cabarrus County Partnership for Children. Reporting to the Board of Directors of Cabarrus County Partnership for Children and Atrium Health Cabarrus, the Executive Director oversees the CCPC staff and contracted services.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree (graduate degree preferred) in business administration or related business field, public administration, public policy, education, or human services-related field.
  • Five years of experience in management and financial administration with at least three years of supervisory experience.

Additional Key Competencies:

  • Experience in nonprofit or state government financial administration and management, including responsibility for developing and managing diversified sources of funding (e.g. federal, state, local, private) and responsibility for regulatory compliance.
  • Experience managing early childhood programs.
  • Experience working and convening diverse stakeholders for community impact.
  • Experience in nonprofit board governance and working with governing boards.
  • Experience fundraising and successful grant writing for the nonprofit sector, participation in community-wide committees or projects, and public speaking experience.
