SUMMARY:
The Program Director is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management and oversight of assigned programs.
Duties
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
⦁ Oversees onsite operations of programs including but not limited to: Family Market, School Food Program, Food Distribution to community sites, Clothing Program, Toy Program, Monthly medical site orders/partners, Sleep Safe Program
⦁ Identifies priorities for the week in each program area and communicates with needed staff/volunteers
⦁ Manages the Family Market 2-3 days a week
⦁ Schedules volunteer groups
⦁ Leads and supports projects, alongside local groups
⦁ Seeks out new partnerships to grow our programs
⦁ Performs needed data entry
⦁ Assists with grant and funding reports
⦁ Assists with blog/newsletter article writing
⦁ Assists with program marketing, including ethical storytelling
⦁ Conducts site visits with partner agencies
⦁ Oversee volunteer groups
⦁ Ensures Continuous Quality Improvement
⦁ Provides feedback on operations and supports leadership in future planning
⦁ Ensures policies and procedures are followed
⦁ Attends staff meetings/trainings and other meetings/events as needed
⦁ Works occasional nights and weekends
⦁ Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
•High School or GED required; BA or equivalent preferred
•Minimum of three years operations experience/program direction in non-profit preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
•Strong supervisory and leadership skills
•Must demonstrate professional maturity
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with CRMs
•Proficient in finding creative solutions to complex problems
•Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task
•Must be able to make decisions in a timely manner
•Must be process-oriented
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Must be able to orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal; use resources effectively and efficiently, arrange information and files in a useful manner
•Must have a friendly and polite demeanor, be easy to approach and talk to; must be able to put others at ease, build rapport well; be a good listener
•Must be widely trusted; seen as a direct, truthful individual; admit mistakes; doesn’t misrepresent themselves for personal gain
•Must be tolerant with people and processes; must listen and check before acting, sensitive to due process and proper pacing; follow established process
