COMPANY SUMMARY: Junior Achievement of the Triad’s purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Junior Achievement currently reaches almost 25,000 students annually across six counties through volunteer delivery of relevant, hands-on learning experiences that teach young people how to manage their money, plan for their economic future, start a business and develop readiness for career and college.

POSITION CONCEPT: This position will be responsible for the management of all components of accurate investor data and stewardship efforts.



Responsible for maximizing every interaction with every stakeholder for the greater good of the organization and community.

Manages constituent database. Responsibilities include: invoicing, gift entry, and acknowledgement letters; updating current and prospective investor detail and attributes; conducting queries, pulling reports and data mining timely constituent follow-up and stewardship; and data cleanliness and accuracy.

Conducts research on prospective investors, foundations and other funders as directed by the Director of Investor Relations. Supports investor relations team through presentation creation for opportunity visits as well as generation of proposals and reports for investors. Responsible for presenting organization as the thought leader and solutions provider by passionately articulating Junior Achievement’s mission, vision and value proposition. Requires strong understanding of organization strategic plan, district implementation plans and new and existing program products.

Collaborates with investor relations team to conduct stewardship activities in compliance with stewardship plan.

Provides administrative support to department members as needed. Activities may include but are not limited to: managing logistics of investment appeals correspondence; creating mailings and communication lists; creating grant budget templates; and pulling grant supporting documentation.



1.     College degree preferred.

2.     2-4 years of experience providing administrative support to departmental team.

3.     Purpose-driven individual committed to making a difference.

4.     Expert at juggling dozens of competing demands and managing limited time. Functions effectively under pressure.

5.     Excellent computer and communication skills.

6.     Independent thinker with collaborative problem-solving approach across department.

7.     Acts as liaison between investors and internal organization team members.
