Fall Board Development Academy

The Board Development Academy is designed to meet the needs of local nonprofit board members — new, prospective, and existing members — and maximize their impact in serving our community. Participants in the seven-session program focus on specific topics related to board service including roles and responsibilities of Board members and fundraising.
Fall 2018 Academy is scheduled for Thursdays beginning September 13th through October 25th. The first session will be held at the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro and all other sessions will be held at the United Way of Greater Greensboro. A box meal will be served each session and will be available at 5:00 p.m. Class sessions run from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Participants are expected to attend all sessions culminating a Mock Board meeting and graduation on October 25th.
